Tilelli -French Foreign Legion

A few sketches of Vespa. Or rather, was Vespa. She's now a Victorian era time traveling French Foreign Legionnaire. Or something to that tune.

Pretty firm on the idea that before her discovery of the time travel mechanism (she becomes a time traveling mercenary or something i don’t know) she was a turn of the century fugitive who had escaped from her crimes and former identity through recruitment into the French Foreign Legion in Algeria. However, that exposes the one historical bit I’m really pushing (besides time travel) since women are not allowed to be members of the Légion étrangère - aside from this one woman joining via the french resistance during World War 2, but hey.

She is sooner referred to Tilelli (Berber language, Largely of Algeria or Morocco where the legion is based) than vespa as translations of wasp is her name according to whichever European nation or colony she is involved with (IE: guêpe, wespe, vespa, avispa, etc). Other than that, her actual origins are unknown.

She is wielding the FAMAS F1 in the sketch here, as it’s the current weapon of choice for the legion, but I may just have her use the augmented 18-19th century Charleville Infantry Musket she has always had.

I think I might fuck around with her uniform a bit, maybe add some more Tunue Orientale elements to fit with the Berber elements of her name, but yeah.
